1000 Main Street, Darby, PA was built before the Civil War by craftsmen with love and strong timber. The Friends of the Blue Bell have been promoting area history since 1985 and need a home
The campaign has started to turn 1000 Main Street (circa 1852) , into a Heritage Arts Center. The building has good bones (see pictures below)

In January of 2002 the architectural firm of Kise, Straw & Kolodner did a historic assessment on 1000 Main Street for the Delaware County Planning Department.  This is one of the drawings of its possible restored appearance.
