| In the early days, getting electric power to the motor was a problem. Leo Daft came up with a system of a little cart that would "troll" along behind the car on a double wire, and supply power. These "Trollers" were not particularly successful because they often fell off, and were eventually replaced with a long pole that would connect with the overhead wire, but the "Troller" name stuck, and today we have "Trolleys." | ||||||
